As part of a summer school project with RAAH!, Sheffield Hallam University, and the Helena Kennedy Center for International Justice, we worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, teaching them all about the art of filmmaking. Naanka Vhera is the film my group produced and is a poetic film written by Jasbir, one of the students on the course. The poem details the memories Jasbir has of growing up in India and how she is now passing on these memories and traditions to her children, forming a generational connection. This film went on to be shown at The Unit's Five Minute Film Club.
